Born in Sarapul, Udmurtia, RSFSR in 1960.

Studied in 1982–86 at the Graphic Art Faculty of Urdmurtia State University. Graduated in 1993 from the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in St Petersburg, where he studied under Andrei Pakhomov at the Graphic Art Faculty. Graphic artist and book illustrator. Regular participant in exhibitions. Member of the Artists’ Union of Russia since 1996. His works can be found in private collections in Russia, Austria, the UK, Germany, Spain and the USA.
