Niyaz Khaziakhmetov
Born in Kazan, Tatarstan, RSFSR in 1969.
Graphic artist. Attended Kazan College of Art. Graduated in 1994 from the Repin Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in St Petersburg, where he studied under Andrei Pakhomov.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1997. Chief Artist at the Kazan Kremlin Museum since 2000. Winner of the Baqi Urmançe Prize awarded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2001. Lives and works in Kazan.
