Natalia Lotareva
Born in Sverdlovsk in 1983.
Graduated from Yekaterinburg Art College named after I.D. Shadr in 2003 and then in 2013 from the Saint Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin (graphic art faculty, book graphic art studio under Professor Andrei Pakhomov). Studied at the Saint Petersburg School of Calligraphy.
Graphic artist and calligrapher. Works in watercolour and traditional print-making techniques – etching, lithography, as well as producing handwritten books. Participant in exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Member of the Artists’ Union of Russia since 2015.
Her works can be found in the State Hermitage, National Library of Russia, Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Moscow, Silesian Library in Katowice, Poland, and the Dr Bohuslav Horák Museum in Rokycany, Czech Republic, as well as private collections.
